Last year when I attended Wealthy Revolution Live, I was extremely stressed about my financial future. I had recently left a six-figure job to pursue my dream of owning my own consulting firm and the business was not growing as fast as I wanted it to. I was never a person that lived paycheck to paycheck and now I found myself living contract to contract. I knew that there had to be a better way. Within the first 20 minutes of the session, I my mindset was being challenged in a good way. Lashawne talked about being a multiplier vs. a manager of your money. That spoke volumes to me. I had always been focused on managing what I had and not even thinking about multiplying it. She broke down cask flow quadrants and challenged us to focus on acquiring assets. Rob Holland taught us about using the M4 System to categorize our money for wealth building. This was a very practical approach to building wealth and was the main thing that I implemented. I knew that given my current financial situation and the fact that I now had custody of my grandson, I would have to continue my building with smaller bricks than what I was used to. My next step will be to invest in real estate. After attending WR I began to study what I needed to do to break into that market and have a plan to do so in the upcoming year.
